Dr. Raul Soto Acosta is a highly respected and accomplished psychiatrist based in Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from the University Of Puerto Rico School Of Medicine, Medical Sciences Campus in 1989. He is affiliated with UF Health Jacksonville. Charles Maddix, a former Navy Corpsman, is a highly experienced and respected nurse practitioner specializing in psychiatric and mental health care. With a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Saint Louis University, and board-certified as a family Psychiatric-Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), Charles has a passion for helping individuals overcome mental health challenges and live fulfilling lives.
Charles has over two decades of experience working in ER's, ICU's, and inpatient and outpatient, medical and psychiatric settings, providing care for individuals struggling with a range of health and mental health conditions. He possesses a strong background in psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and holistic approaches to mental health care, and is committed to delivering individualized and compassionate care to each and every one of his patients. Treating individuals across the lifespan, from ages 5 and up suffering from mood disorders, ADHD, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, abuse, trauma, behavioral issues, and addiction. Charles also offers suboxone treatment, ketamine infusion therapy, TMS therapy by Neurostar, bio-idenetical hormone replacement therapy and allergy immunology all designed to treat the individual's mind and body.
