“I have been seeing Dr Maddix for 3 years now. Honestly I have never seen a more caring and knowledgeable. This is a veteran owned business. Dr Maddix is highly attentive and able to give you a thorough diagnoses. For 35 years I went to more than a handful of psychiatrists before finding Dr Maddix. I had been on all kinds of medicine over the years that didn’t work. My depression wasn’t ever getting better. I’d laugh and cry at the same time interject in conversation and topics others were discussing my adhd was way out of control my anxiety always through the roof. Dr Maddix even had to baker act me once and I went back, not because he was a psychiatrist he truly genuinely cared about my best interests when I didn’t. Dr Maddix and I have talk therapy and dbt therapy. Dbt therapy has been an excellent way for me to learn how to communicate socially with others because I’m a high level functioning autistic. I get Ketamine therapy once a month or as needed for my well being and depression. For the first time in my life I found out what happy truly feels like. I go to group therapy once a week. This has given me a wonderful support group with other people. Something I never had before. Z worked tirelessly and extremely hard hard along with Dr Maddix to get the only prescription in the whole wide world approved by my insurance companies which hadn’t wanted to pay for over a year. Lori is always busy working hard right along with them. She’s always running around making sure patients are well taken care of. She tries to work you in where she can if you really need an emergency appointment. My medicine is always put in on time. Sometimes you have to wait because Dr Maddix is thorough and caring and sometimes he’s in a telehealth call or because a patient needed a little longer. I find that the people who complain on here are usually pill seekers. If you come in asking for a specific something 9 times out of 10 you are a pill seeker. Dr Maddix does not give you the medicine you just want, he will prescribe you what you need to be better and feel better. We even have group activities during the month. If you just want pills and go to no therapy you are a pill seeker. Yes the drug test their patients in an effort to screen new patients and randomly test current patients for the benefit of preventing addiction problems as he does treat for opioid abuse. I have never met someone that works as tirelessly as all of them do often ending up not leaving there until at least 9 pm. His patients aren’t family in the sense suggested by another person on here. We are a family a family of no relationship to any of these people in the office. However we are a family of misfits with common issues that have bonded with each other into a safe trustworthy anonymous first name only group of support. I pay to see Dr. Maddix and live on disability and he helped my get grants for my medicine on a federal level. No Dr. has ever worked so hard on my behalf. I can never thank this wonderful staff enough! Thank you from the bottom of my heart you all! May many blessings pour over all of you in your lives.”

“I've been seeing Mr. Maddix for six years and if he runs a few minutes behind, he is worth waiting for because he takes time to listen to his patients. Other doctors rush you out within 10 or 15 minutes and if I have something I need to talk to him about, he always takes the time to listen. To the other reviewer, I've never known the front staff to be rude.”

“If it was just Dr. Sotto Accosta it'd be a five. He's very pleasant and helped me about 10 yrs now. The practice is why it's a four. They try to make you put a credit card on file even if insurance pays in full. Can't book appointment online without it and push to make you schedule online. They want online ID. I've had info hacked on eye doc internet so I never give Id card or SS card online. They make you fill out online forms and hard to reach a human on the phone. I preferred when he had his own office.”
